It is always good to plan beforehand when you decide to go on the 60-day juice diet. This will help you stay focused on your plan to detoxify your body and put a full stop to your weight gain problem. Here is a list of equipment you should have in your kitchen for juicing.
How To Do A Diy Detox Cleanse
Since writing this detox cleanse I’ve had a few comments questioning the quantities:
Please Note EACH recipe is for 3 juices. You will have to store what is leftover and it’s perfectly fine to do so in the fridge as the duration of this cleanse is only 3 days.
I’ve done this cleanse many times now and have triple checked the quantities needed, so you really shouldn’t have a surplus if you follow the list and drink 6 juices a day .
You don’t need to buy both the agave nectar and raw honey so choose one or the other.
I include a reference to agave as it makes this cleanse completely vegan but if you prefer honey that works great too.

I would recommend that you drink 6 juices a day, one of each colour is what works best.
It doesn’t matter what order you drink them in although I find the ‘White’ and ‘Gold’ are lovely for evenings as they taste indulgent and soothing.
The method to make the juices is the same for all recipes. With each of the juices, you will need to add water to the other ingredients.
I’ve been asked how much water is required, but that can be a bit of a how long is a piece of string question as it will depend on how powerful your blender is and what consistency you like your smoothie.
I suggest you experiment with the amount of water and adjust as per your requirements.
Simply chop, blend or juice and enjoy!
Before Your Juice Fast
Before you start a juice fast, take a moment to think about why you are doing this and set realistic expectations. Is it to lose weight? Curb sugar cravings? Reset your digestive system? Whatever your goal is, a juice fast may be a step in helping to reach that goal , but it is not a fast track to wellness. Making sustained changes to your health and well-being takes time.
Additionally, you’ll want to think through when works best in your schedule to actually start a juice fast. My advice: Plan it for a low-key weekend at home, where you can run to the bathroom as often as you need to . Juice fasts require you to drink a lot of juice that is perishable, so it may not be best to juice fast when you’re traveling either.

Essence Of A Drinking Diet For 30 Days
Drinking diet for 30 days for weight loss is an effective method of getting rid of excess weight, meaning eating only in liquid form. For 30 days, with the help of a drinking diet, you can lose weight by 15-18 kilograms, and also reduce the stomach volume, which subsequently leads to rapid saturation in small portions.
Principles of a drinking diet for 30 days:
- Five meals in liquid form throughout the day at regular intervals
- The volume of one serving should not exceed one glass
- The last meal in liquid form should be no later than 3 hours before sleep to avoid swelling
- It is imperative to drink at least 1,5 liters of purified water per day without gas in between meals in liquid form
- Exception from the diet for slimming carbonated and alcoholic beverages, as well as sugar.

With juice, youre extracting the pulp and concentrating the nutrients a lot more so they will absorb better. With a smoothie, the pulp and fiber are good, but you eliminate the nutrients without a chance to fully absorb them. If its a nice potent juice, its like a vitaminsuper compacted. Youre not stressing your digestive tract to deal with all the fiber. On a regular basis, fiber is good. But if youre doing a cleanse, give your body a rest.

I had a lot of patients asking about fasting. Before I recommend anything, I like to try it myself. My wife joined me. The first few days of the 30-day juice fast were quite hard. Exercise pushes the blood to circulate more efficiently through the body, allowing nutrients to easily reach our organs and muscles. At the same time, exercise helps lymph fluids circulate through the body, which help remove toxins.
One of the most well-documented reactions that take place during and after a workout is the production of endorphins. These nonaddictive, feel-good molecules are polypeptides that bind with neurotransmitters in the brain to reduce pain symptoms. The human body produces at least 20 types of endorphins, which benefit the body in a myriad ways. Besides relieving pain, endorphins help reduce stress, boost immunity, slow the aging process and create a sense of euphoria.
So many women DM me saying that they wont exercise anymore because it makes their rosacea worse. Exercise is so important to clear stuck energy in the body and mind!
Dont stop moving, sweating and living your life because you have rosacea! Moving the energy in your body and clearing your mind will sustain you on your journey to glow!

I know that a lot of experts say to avoid saunas when you have rosacea, but I completely disagree with that.
So personally, yeah, huge fan of saunas, and Im grateful to have one in my home.

Detox For Weight Loss
I know lots of people searching for a juice cleanse or detox will be considering doing it for weight loss.
If weight loss is your primary goal then a cleanse is not the answer. Sure, if you resolved to drink only liquid fruit and vegetables for 30 days at a time you will definitely lose weight.
You’ll probably notice you lose a few pounds doing a 3 or a 5 day cleanse but for healthy weight loss you should be aiming to lose 2 pounds a week over a sustained period of time.

What Can I Drink

- Milk and sour-milk drinks of low fat content kefir, yogurt, natural yoghurt, ayran, fermented baked milk. It is necessary that the drinks are without any impurities, and therefore it is better to cook them yourself at home
- Broths of low-fat meat , poultry , fish. It is forbidden to use broth from cubes. When preparing the broth it is allowed to use natural seasonings , salt. Before using the broth, it must be filtered
- Vegetable broth and soup-mashed potatoes
- Freshly squeezed vegetable and fruit juices
- Smoothies of non-starchy vegetables and unsweetened fruits
- Compotes and fruit drinks from fruits, dried fruits and berries . Before use, the drink must be filtered
- Kiseli from fruits, berries and cereals
- Cocoa without sugar
- Coffee without sugar
- Tea without sugar
- Mineral water without gas.
In addition to other drinks, with a drinking diet, you must drink at least 1,5 liters of purified water without gas per day. In order to speed up the metabolism, it is recommended to drink a glass of water on an empty stomach, you can add a couple drops of lemon juice.

Why I Wanted To Do A 30
At the end of 2018, after making only a little progress with my skin even though Id been on my journey to glow to heal rosacea for almost 2 years I decided it was time to try something new.
For most of Fall 2018, I was also feeling very low in energy, frequently experienced brain fog and energy crashes mid-day.
I felt like I was dragging my ass around, and I certainly didnt have enough energy to exercise. I felt out of shape and lethargic. My Yoga Jeans fit real tight.
Im usually a very upbeat and energetic person, so this lack of energy was getting to me.
My schedule was busy with both Journey To Glow and my coaching practice, and I knew that, if I was going to achieve my bigger goals faster, something had to change.
I needed energy, clarity of mind and quality sleep. I wanted to regain optimal health, start exercising again and wanted to see improvement with my skin!
To be clear, ever since starting my journey to glow in January of 2017, Id seen constitant progress with my rosacea. If I was to quantify it, Id say that my skin had improved by 30% to 40%.
