How To Do A Diy Detox Cleanse

5 – Day Juice Cleanse Detox (Day 5) Ginger Love & Turmeric Love

Since writing this detox cleanse I’ve had a few comments questioning the quantities:

Please Note EACH recipe is for 3 juices. You will have to store what is leftover and it’s perfectly fine to do so in the fridge as the duration of this cleanse is only 3 days.

I’ve done this cleanse many times now and have triple checked the quantities needed, so you really shouldn’t have a surplus if you follow the list and drink 6 juices a day .

You don’t need to buy both the agave nectar and raw honey so choose one or the other.

I include a reference to agave as it makes this cleanse completely vegan but if you prefer honey that works great too.

I would recommend that you drink 6 juices a day, one of each colour is what works best.

It doesn’t matter what order you drink them in although I find the ‘White’ and ‘Gold’ are lovely for evenings as they taste indulgent and soothing.

The method to make the juices is the same for all recipes. With each of the juices, you will need to add water to the other ingredients.

I’ve been asked how much water is required, but that can be a bit of a how long is a piece of string question as it will depend on how powerful your blender is and what consistency you like your smoothie.

I suggest you experiment with the amount of water and adjust as per your requirements.

Simply chop, blend or juice and enjoy!

    I love this juice cleanse. It has a wide variety of juices so i have something different at times each day. The ginger shots tastes exactly like ginger and im not too fond of that but its suppose to be a good boost to your immune system.

    Its a great cleanse to buy. I love that you can freeze the juices because they last longer and are perfect for my busy work schedule and supper convienence. I usually have them during breakfast or when i feel snacky. I love the variety of flavors and they taste awesome. they help me stay on track with a healthier life style and i noticed a difference in my energy levels. It helps curb my appetite and lost 5 lbs so far. I will continue to use them. Love this product

    I personally think they all tasted disgusting, but I wasnât expecting any different. I did this for a week cleanse, and did not last anymore than 3 days. Obviously, the product speaks for itself, and they are 100% what youâre looking for when purchasing. I just hated it, lol. Nothing bad on the company though.

    How Can You Spot An Unsafe Cleanse

    Like most things, not all juice cleanses are created equal. As such, it helps to know what to keep an eye out for. Namely, you want to look for cleanses made with organic and local produce whenever possible to avoid consuming pesticides.     Yes! Enthusiastically! In fact I am already planning to do another cleanse in a few months and my husband is interested in joining too. He kept complimenting me on how healthy I looked all week long and how he regretted my offer to include him on my juice journey.

    Overall I feel amazing, I honestly dont remember the last time I felt so good!     How Does Shipping Work

    All orders are shipped using leak proof, special insulated packaging. The juices will arrive cold/frozen to preserve its natural nutritional content and freshness. Upon delivery, place the juices into the freezer until you are ready to start the cleanse. Once thawed, consume the juices within 3-4 days.

    How Long Should You Do A Juice Cleanse

    Its totally up to you. I find that I get the best results when I juice for 3-4 days. You should keep in mind that on top of those 3-4 juicing days, there is a pre and post period thats very important. So if Im juicing for 3 days, it really means the cleanse is 9 days because of the 3 day pre cleanse and 3 day post cleanse schedule that I follow.

    If youre new to juicing, Id say start with a 3 day cleanse. They arent easy and you want to make sure you arent going crazy all the time! So I vote for starting on the shorter side and seeing how your body reacts. And for sure, dont skip the pre and post cleanse Ive done it before and its much harder without the pre/post schedule.

    What Does A Juice Cleanse Schedule Look Like

    During my 3-4 days of juicing I drink about 6 glasses of juice a day and 6 glasses of water. I make 3 kinds of juice and for lack of better names, I call them by color: Green Juice , Red Juice , Orange Juice . And then I cap off the day with my strawberry almond milk.

    So heres what a day would look like for me:

    • 7:00 am wake up drink some white ginger tea or hot lemon water
    • 8:00 am Green Juice #1 + Water
    • 10:00 Orange Juice #1 + Water
    • 12:00 Green Juice #2 + Water
    • 2:00 Red Juice #1+ Water
    • 4:00 Green Juice #3+ Water
    • 6:00 Orange Juice #2+ Water
    • 8:00 Strawberry Almond Milk and some more white ginger tea
    • And thats about it. Then its off to bed where my dreams are usually filled with food. Just kidding, kinda, not really. Its hard when I live in the food world not to dream about food!!

    My “before” weight was 173 and my “after” weight was 168. What was more amazing than losing 5 lbs in a week was the transformation of my waist, and the overall slimming of my entire body. My stomach has always been the part of my body that makes me uncomfortable in clothes and is now so much slimmer that it’s almost a non-issue.     If you want to get through the 3 days of juicing without or limited hunger pains, cravings for solid food & other possible side effects, its recommended to cut out meat, dairy, sugar & coffee a couple of days before starting the juice cleanse, this will prepare your body for whats to come. Being vegan I obviously didnt have any meat or dairy to remove from my diet but I did stop having coffee 2 days before doing the cleanse.

    The night before starting the juice cleanse I weighed in at 55.9kgs At the end of the 3 day cleanse I weighed at 53.4kgs which is a full 2.5kg weight loss.
