I recently reviewed the Simple Moisturizing Face Wash, which I have been using for my CTM routine. I mentioned that I was looking for a cleanser which does more for my combination skin, and thus, I picked up this Aveda Botanical Kinetics Purifying Gel Cleanser. The gel variant of this cleanser is meant for normal to oily skin. Estee Lauder is the mother brand of Aveda and this company makes hair and skin care products derived from natural ingredients. So, lets see how this cleanser fared out for me.

My Experience With Aveda Botanical Kinetics Purifying Gel Cleanser:
Packaging:If you order this product online from the official website, it will come wrapped in scented papers. I loved this little perk which came with this product. The gel cleanser comes enclosed in a hard plastic bottle. It is translucent olive green in colour, so you can see how much product is left. There is a pump dispenser which can be locked, so this ensures that the product doesnt spill. The dispenser is also made from hard plastic.
The pump dispenses the right amount of product you need for cleaning your face. Its a small amount and its enough product for cleaning your face. Now, the packaging looks durable but the product comes only in two sizes 150 mL and 500 mL, which makes it not so travel-friendly. So, if youre travelling, you will need to transfer the product in small travel-sized tubes.
Consistency and Cleansing Power:The product is called a gel cleanser but its consistency is watery. It needs to be massaged on a wet face, and when I do that, it spreads easily. It doesnt lather up like a soap but forms a white film which cleans your face. This soap-free kind of formulation works great for combination and oily skin types.
