Banila Co. Clean It Zero Cleansing Balm Original : The texture of this hypoallergenic cleansing balm is similar to Then I Met Yous version, although retails for significantly less. However, I think the higher-quality and naturally sourced ingredients in Then I Met Yous version make it worth the price.

Sunday Riley Blue Moon
I wrote about the Sunday Riley Blue Moon Clean-Rinse Cleansing Balm back in my brand review of Sunday Riley, and my overall impression is a good one. The first thing to talk about with Blue Moon is the wonderful color and scent, which come primarily from the blue tansy oil in Blue Moon . I find Blue Moon to be a really effective cleanser as well, and true to its name, it rinses remarkably clean.
The texture of Blue Moon is a little weird, but not unpleasant. Mostly its a soft, easily meltable, not too waxy balm with a really pleasant feel, but it also has a few little grains of sugar in it. Im honestly not sure why, but I dont find it especially problematic either: the sugar grains are not especially dense in the balm, and they seem to melt pretty quickly once applied to the face .
Overall, the experience of cleansing with Sunday Riley Blue Moon is really luxurious: the blue color, the slightly herbaceous, slightly floral blue tansy scent, the lovely way it melts between your hands all make for a really lovely cleansing experience. Like Green Clean, it does feature some essential oils that contribute to the pleasant scent, but Im not terribly worried about it, unless youre especially sensitive to essential oils. Is it enough to justify its $50 price tag? Maybe if you have a little bit of money to splurge on a cleansing balm, Id say go for it.

A water-based cleanser always follows oil cleansing, and in this case, its the Soothing Tea Cleansing Gel. You only need a pea-sized amount to wash away the water-based impurities, like dirt and sweat, from your whole face.
Cho ensured that the floral-scented cleansing gel has a pH of 6, so your skin wont feel tight and dry after using it, like many cleansers with a higher pH level tend to do. Skin is naturally on the more acidic side with pH levels around 4 to 6. Maintaining these levels helps your skin retain moisture and protect against nasties, like bacteria and pollution. So using a cleanser that is about the same level as your skin keeps it balanced and the cleanser wont strip away moisture.
The Soothing Tea Cleansing Gel is also spiked with brightening ingredients like sake and licorice extract, as well as tea tree extract and green tea, which help clear skin.
