If you are going for smell, both are fragrance-free which is a MUST for Eczema users. We dont judge moisturizers based on smell, it is how effective it is that counts!

CeraVe has a similar texture to Cetaphil, though from my personal experience I found that the Cetaphil moisturizer to be a bit lighter and more oily.
