My Experience With Dermalogica Special Cleansing Gel :
Packaging: The cleansing gel comes in a classic white bottle with grey top that bears a press open white dispensing opening. This type of opening is ideal in controlling the amount of product it dispenses the exact amount of the gel required for one wash without causing any additional wastage. The packaging is simple yet elegant but I feel this bigger bottle is quite bulky for travel well one can any day pick up its travel pack.
Consistency and smell:As you can make out that this is a cleansing gel. The cleanser is a thick transparent clear gel that foams beautifully even in a pea size quantity enough to cover the entire face and neck area. Though the product claims to be fragrance free it mildly smells of refreshing mint.
Results: I use this cleanser twice a day. A pea-size amount is enough to cover my face and neck. The product produces rich and smooth foam that cleanses my face beautifully and successfully removes out dirt and impurities effectively. Post wash my face looks brighter and cleaner and I surely feel refreshed thanks to the Mint, Lavender and Quillaja extracts . When used in proper quantity, my face never feels tight or dry but if a tad bit extra amount is used it might feel a bit tight and stretchy!

I bought the Dermalogica Special Cleansing Gel because none of the cleansers Id previously tried stood out to me. I have normal-oily skin, and I often felt underwhelmed from cleansers Id used before.
While I justify spending a lot on makeup and skincare, Id always opt for drugstore cleansers, such as the LOreal Pure Clay Foam Wash or the Boots Cucumber Facial Wash. These were both nice, but nothing special.
One of my friends recommended the Dermalogica Special Cleansing Gel to me and said it had done wonders for her skin. We have the same skin type and, so I thought Id try it out.

Although this is on the more expensive side for cleansers, I think its worth the price tag. I enjoy using it and it makes my skin look clear and feel refreshed. Not only that, but the product lasts because a little bit goes a long way, so it isnt like you need to repurchase this every 2 months.
