My Take On Garnier Skinactive Micellar Cleansing Water All
Packaging: Clear, cylindrical bottle with a blue flip cap to hold the product. I like the packaging because it holds a generous amount of the cleanser, is made up of sturdy material, and is easy to dispense out the product.
Fragrance: It has no fragrance it claims to be water, hence has no color or fragrance :P.
Usage: Squeeze out a little product on a cotton pad and hold it over the eyes for a few seconds and then gently wipe without any harsh rubbing.
Similarly, it can be wiped all over the face to remove makeup and other impurities to remove dirt and waterproof makeup. Since the oils form a separate layer on top of water-based compounds, it is advised to shake the bottle well before use.
Can a water-like substance remove waterproof makeup? Apparently, it can, because this product uses the same mechanism to attract dirt as a detergent would .
The other version of this product is not meant for waterproof/eye makeup because it contains mild soap, but this version has a layer of oils which help in removing waterproof makeup. Chemicals such as cyclopentasiloxane and isohexadecane mentioned in the ingredients list are oils that help in removing waterproof makeup. I use similar oils in my research work and they are non toxic, but I am not sure if there are any long-term effect.
