Glossier Milky Jelly Cleanser
Glossier Milky Jelly Cleanser is a pH-balanced gel face wash formulated for every skin type, including sensitive skin. It contains multiple skin conditioners to soften your skin.
Rosewater replaces a quarter of the water in the formula to soothe the skin. Pro-vitamin B5, also known as panthenol, is an anti-inflammatory and healing ingredient that helps to moisturize the skin. Glycerin and betaine moisturize the skin.
Allantoin has soothing, anti-inflammatory, and skin-softening benefits. Aquaxyl reduces water loss in the skin and supports a healthy skin barrier. Sodium hyaluronate, the salt of hyaluronic acid, is a humectant and supports your skins moisture levels.
This Glossier product uses Poloxamer, a mild cleansing agent often used in contact lens solutions, which means that it does not irritate or sting the delicate eye area when you are removing your mascara.
The cleanser has a creamy gel texture that does not foam, making it ideal as a second cleanse after removing your makeup with a cleansing balm. It leaves your skin nicely moisturized, soft, and smooth.
Its vegan, cruelty-free, and non-comedogenic.
Glossier Wowder Powder Dupes
This setting powder is easily a miss. It is quite like the usual powders with no wow effect. So obviously there are much better powders in the market, drugstore included.
Revlon photo ready candid setting powder
But if you want an identical Glossier dupe to this one, Revlons setting powder is your answer. It helps refines the skin, mattify and get rid of shininess, and simply sets your makeup beautifully. However it is not talc-free, so if thats an issue for you, this aint for you my girl.
You can always try other drugstore setting powders like the one from Maybellines or E.l.f. halo glow powder.
The Packaging: Pretty But Not Sustainable
Climate change is realand sadly, in some ways, the beauty industry is negatively impacting our planet. With that in mind, I am now more mindful of product packaging. Glossier’s packaging has been controversial as its pink bubble wrap mailers and stickers aren’t recyclable. However, the company has been listening to its consumers and has added a “less packaging” option stating that orders won’t include a pink pouch, seasonal sticker, or any extras.

The 10 Best Jelly Cleansers
When it comes to K-Beauty, there are a number of products were obsessed with – hair sheet masks , cushion foundations …and most recently, jelly cleansers.
Thicker than a cleansing oil, thinner than a cleansing balm, theyre characterised by their more gelatinous textures, conditioning ingredients and chameleon-like formulas that can switch from jelly to milk with just a splash of water. A new beauty category thats picking up pace, here are our favourites.

Oak + Fort Lip Tint Color: Clay

This is a VERY close match. The color is spot on and this glossier dupe even manages to give the same chic washed-out tone. It adds a tint to your lips without that cakey, full lipstick look. HIghly recommend at this price! Oak + Fort also has a lip tint that looks very similar in packaging, but I feel their colorwash series is actually a closer match to the texture of the glossier matte lipstick.
TIP: Use your finger to apply for that glossier look.

Glossier Milky Jelly Cleanser Dupes That Will Save You Money
Posted on Last updated: June 16, 2022
Glossier is a much-loved skincare brand that offers a range of reasonably priced products but these products are only available on their website or in their small handful of stores. This well-marketed youthful brand offers clean beauty products that are gentle on the skin, and their Milky Jelly Cleanser is one of their bestsellers.
If youre looking for affordable dupes to their Milky Jelly Cleanser, look no further! The Glossier Milky Jelly Cleanser dupes that I found are just as effective than the Glossier original. Plus, theyre vegan, cruelty-free, WAY cheaper, and much easier to find both online and in-store!
Lets get right to it! Here are four of the best Glossier Milky Jelly Cleanser dupes and a quick primer on what makes Glossier Milky Jelly Cleanser so popular:

Nyx Bare With Me Tinted Skin Veil
This was the closest drugstore dupe I could find for Glossier skin tint. The NYX Bare with me Tinted Skin Veil has the same coverage and same subtleness that the Glossier Skin tint has and they last approximately the same amount of time. Its not full day wear, but if you dont want full coverage these are very comparable to one another. The finish is a bit more satin, and still gives the appearance of that no-makeup makeup look.

Perfecting Skin Tint Is $26 These Dupes Are Way Cheaper
The perfect foundation doesn’t exi okay, maybe it does, and lots of beauty lovers swear it’s Glossier’s Perfecting Skin Tint . Just take it from a Glamour UK beauty editor, who says this product was a “perfect” shade match for her, evened out her complexion, and is the epitome of “your skin, only better.” If you love the idea of light coverage, you might already be thinking about this foundation, which includes diamond powder for a soft glow. This skin tint is great, but so are the ah-mazing cheaper dupes we found.
First up, we have The Ordinary’s Serum Foundation , a lookalike that rounds out at almost one-fourth the price of Glossier’s version. Wallet-friendly as can be, The Ordinary is a brand that takes the mystique and red-tape out of skincare, pioneering “integrity” in beauty. While keeping their prices low, the products are seriously high quality: this foundation is formulated with a “pigment suspension system” that prevents it from digging into fine lines or looking cakey. Revelist recommends this as a great dupe, describing it as a “fuller-coverage version” of Glossier’s iteration, scoring a “diehard fan club.” It comes in 21 shades, too!
Glossier Cloud Paint Dupes
For the most natural blushing face, cream blushes are your savior. And most of us knew that ha. But these cloud paints seriously are so good, give you the most beautiful pigment, melt into the skin like butter, and give a dewy radiant finish.
I mean I love them but its very easy to go overboard with them due to their aesthetic but useless packaging and intense pigment. Also, the $36 price tag is a big one for blush. So lets find some Glossier cloud paint dupes thatll cost much less and you can get almost the same finish.
Flower Beauty Blush Bomb
I have no words for this one. This literally is Cloud paint in different packaging, with a drugstore brand name, and a cheaper price tag. It has the same easy-to-blend, lightweight, and liquid formula that looks like you are in love, lol. But you get the point. The shade Toasted Cinnamon from Flower Beauty is the perfect Glossier Cloud paint dupe in the shade Cloud Paint Dusk. Buy this blindly!
Milani Cheek KissBlush
Extremely lightweight and a tad more watery in texture, this cheek tint from Milani has skin-loving hydrating ingredients in them as well. It is also easier to blend into the skin and is very forgiving in terms of pigmentation. You can always add more of the product to build the color though. Nude Flush from Milani is a very similar Glossier Cloud paint dupe to Dusk.

The Best Affordable Dupes For Popular Glossier Products
We may receive a commission on purchases made from links.
It’s no secret we’re obsessed with all things beauty. We were the ones crimping our hair à la Lizzie McGuire in the early aughts, and you can bet we got our contour skills down when the Kardashian-esque “Instagram makeup” showed up. Name a makeup or skincare trick, and we’ve probably tried it. Scrolling through TikTok, we’ve mastered “slugging,” or covering our face in Vaseline for über-hydrated skin, and we’ve even used spare cash to create a cat-eye . You can find us making our lashes pop by applying mascara just on the tips and blending out our blush before foundation for a “hidden” glow .
If we’re talking beauty, chances are we’re on it. But lately, we’ve found ourselves veering away from shimmery eyeshadow and over-lined lips. While we’ll always have a soft spot for nighttime glam, cool-girl brand Glossier makes a bid for happy-in-your-skin, natural cosmetics. Consider us downright obsessed.
Glossier Moisturising Moon Mask = Skin Regimen Night Detox Mask
Oh, how I love both of these masks dearly. Even though the Skin Regimen Night Detox Mask is not really marketed as a moisturising mask but more as an anti-pollution, brightening night treatment, its very similar in texture to the Glossier Moon Mask. Both have a bouncy, milky yoghurt texture and feel super cooling when applied to the skin. Theyre light enough to be suitable for spot-prone skin as well, but still so hydrating that theyd quench even the thirstiest among us. I like to keep these masks in the fridge to lather on in the morning to smooth out my puffy face. But you might as well use them in the evening and even leave them on overnight, because they sink into your skin completely. The only noticeable difference here – apart from the significantly higher price point of the Skin Regimen Night Detox – is the smell: the Glossier smells just like their cleanser, while the Skin Regimen Mask definitely has a more herbal scent.

Glossier Super Bounce Serum = Caudalie Vinosource Sos Serum
I was super excited to try out the Glossier Super Bounce Serum and I really love it. But it actually delivers exactly the same results and the same pleasant, thirst-quenching experience as my beloved Caudalie Vinosource serum. Both have a milky texture yet sink into the skin like water, smell nice and simple and act well under other products – including makeup. The only difference would be the packaging. Both serums come in a nice sleek glass bottle, but the Glossier Super Bounce uses a dropper applicator while the Caudalie comes with a pump.
The Best Glossier Alternatives: Ultimate Drugstore Picks

Glossier is a mood. Its honestly one of my favorite beauty brands, and lets admit it- their marketing is on point. But, while I love most of their products, I also burn through them way too fast to keep my bank account and beauty habits happy.
So, while i will continue to buys some* Glossier products, Ive also found that finding a more affordable glossier alternative helps me save money to invest in the glossier products I cant live without.
Its all about balance right?
So no need to go on a Glossier haul and come out the other end with a credit card statement that you just dont want to open.

The Results: Clean Skin Sans Irritation
On my first wash, I started with two pumps on dry skin. I massaged it in for a couple of minutes, and let it sit as I brushed my teeth to help break up the full-coverage foundation I’d applied that morning.
Since the Milky Jelly formula is made with poloxamer, the same cleansing agent used in contact lens solution, I opened my eyes to see if the jelly would burn my eyes. I felt no burn, which was a pleasant surprise.
Next, I rinsed it off with my hands, rubbing as I rinsed, like Emily Weiss, Glossier’s founder, suggested in her how-to video on YouTube. Now it was time for a white cloth check. I was on the road and didn’t have a fresh white cloth handy, so I used a cotton pad, and to my surprise, most of the makeup was gone! I am a double cleanser, so I did one more wash, and my skin was clean, but without a tight feeling.
Glossier Formulations Have Gained Mainstream Attention Over The Years But A Large Part Of Their Inspiration Is Pulled From Already Existing K
With the launch of K-beauty curation websites likeSokoGlam, Peach & Lily, and MBX, K-beauty successfully made its debut within the American beauty market. Within the same year, 2012, we also witnessed the launch of Glossier, a beauty company that would later be on the faces of celebrities like Lil Nas X, walking up the iconic Met Gala stairs.
Although 2012 was the year for K-beauty discovery in America, these Korean products had been around for years longer, in Korea of course.

Glossier has made a name for themselves through innovative, never before-seen formulations, but unfortunately, many of their best-selling products have already been created just by a South Korean beauty brand. In a globalized world, its easy to gain influence from different people, brands, and cultures, but the issue lies in not giving credit where credit is due.
So what exact Glossier products are K-beauty dupes? Lets take a look.

Are you kidding me with $15 for a lip balm that doesnt even nourish my lips and is a temporary solution to chapped and dry lips ? Boy, please. I have never understood the hype of this product honestly.
Vaseline Cocoa Butter Lip Therapy
Instead buy vaseline, especially the cocoa butter one. Why? The first ingredient of Glossier lip balm is literally petroleum, which as far as my knowledge goes is an occlusive ingredient that only helps in locking everything in instead of moisturizing.
So thats why I recommend saving those dollars and getting yourself a vaseline with cocoa butter that actually helps nourish your lips and keep them soft even after it has worn off. Or you could buy any other lip balm that actually moisturizes your lips and lock everything in with a normal vaseline.
I dont know how much you love it or want to buy, I wont ever go on and spend $15
Glossier Milky Jelly Cleanser Vs Bliss Makeup Melt Gentle Jelly Cleanser
A few months ago, beauty bloggers everywhere rejoiced over the news that our beloved Bliss Spas was rebranding their skincare line into an affordable, and Instagrammable, brand available at Target. While the classics remain, there are a couple of interesting additions. Namely, the Bliss Makeup Melt Jelly Cleanser. Its obviously intended to be a drugstore dupe of a personal favorite of mine, Glossiers Milky Jelly Cleanser. At $9.99, its nearly ten dollars cheaper than Milky Jelly Cleanser and thats without adding in shipping. Apparently, its also available at Ulta and Amazon for around $12.
One of the things that I absolutely detest about Glossier is the shipping time. The first time I ordered from them was right around their original launch, so it made sense that logistics were a little bit off. Its to be expected from a tiny, startup! But over the past few years, Glossier has grown into a major beauty brand. They seem to be launching new products every 3-6 months, they now ship internationally, have permanent stores in New York and LA, and host pop-ups around the world. At this point, I feel like I should be able to receive my orders in a reasonable amount of time especially when Im stuck paying for shipping. Okay, that was kind of a tangent, but my point is that as much as I love Glossier products, Im not always eager to order from them.

Faq: All About Closed Comedones
Closed comedones, or what many people describe as little raised bumps on my face have many causes and are often easily treated by a few small adjustments or an addition into your skincare routine. A Comedone is basically a clogged pore, caused by sebum buildup which cannot exit the pore because of a blockage. The blockage may also occur because your skin doesnt shed cells effectively.
Treatments:- As Ive mentioned already, your skin could be overexfoliated and dehydrated. A non comedogenic oil like hempseed or safflower oil could be your saviour.- 2.5% benzoyl peroxide: doenst cause purging is effective against acne vulgaris and closed comedones- AHA exfoliants: I would sugges glycolic acid as those penetrate deeper into the skin than other AHAs. This will cause your skin to purge initially to get the impurities out.- BHA exfoliants: you can look up the difference between those two but they both effectively combat CCs- Stirdex pads, or other chemical exfoliating pads.- Retinol, or Retin-A: often prescribed to combad adult acne and a great anti-ageing agent. Will also make you purge and you will suffer from dry skin for about a month or two. Its a bigger measure than the other ones Ive mentioned.- Oil cleansing method, look it up!- Clay masks: Suck oil out of your pores to prevent sebum build up.
