There’s nothing worse than getting back from holidays and feeling rejuvenated and refreshed, but your skin tells a different story. Following a recent ten day stint in the south of France, my face seemed to have had a break of its own. Too much sun, sleeping with my make-up on, bad diet, lack of sleep and the odd jug of Sangria here and there, turned my face into a complete shambles.
I felt like a 16-year-old girl all over again. I had a severe and very noticeable outbreak of little under-the-skin red bumps on both of my cheeks, while my nose and chin displayed severe congestion.
I tried everything from drinking gallons of water a day to completely changing my diet and upping my cleansing routine. I even changed my pillow cases and wiped my phone down on a regular basis. But sadly nothing seemed to help my acne-looking skin.
