I don’t ever write reviews, not ever but for this product I had to. I have excessive oily skin, this product after one use has made a huge difference! I have spent hundreds of dollars at Wal-Mart trying to find something to work for my skin and nothing I buy works for my skin because it is so oily, which also enlarges my pores, causing multiple problems with my face. I would have to completely take off all of my make-up around noon and re-apply because by that time, my make-up would be literally melting off of my face. It is noon now and my face looks the same as it did this morning right after I had put on all my make-up. I am amazed and so happy with this product. If you have my problem you must by this! It doesn’t smell the best but it works!!! Like I said, nothing has worked for me definitely will re-buy!

Regular Bioglycolic Cleanser Better Than Oily Skin Gel

I have oily, acne-prone skin, so I thought I would give the Bioglycolic Oily Skin Cleansing Gel a try. I usually use the regular Jan Marini Bioglycolic Face Cleanser. This ended up irritating my skin and was no more effective than the regular face cleanser at removing makeup. It is not bad, but in comparison to the regular cleanser, it is definitely not as good. I would not recommend, even for oilier skin types. Also, has a very odd smell, which the regular cleanser , does not have.

Very Effective Very Drying

I’ve been using this cleanser for about 2 weeks. The first week, I used it once in the morning and once at night. This dried my skin out VERY fast and it took about a week for it to recover. My skin is no where near as oily as it was which was the goal. I’ve decided to use it once-twice a week and only on my problem areas. I do have very sensitive skin with mild rosecea so I am keeping that in mind while reviewing this product. Overall, very effective.

Works Very Well For Oily Skin

I have oily skin, with very large pores. I have tried any number of high end and low end products over the years. This is definitely one of the best products I’ve used for reducing oil and reducing the appearance of my pores. I did experience dryness and skin pealing the first two weeks of use, but it quickly passed. I also try to be careful when using the soap around my mouth. My lips are dry and do not respond well to heavy stimulation with soap, so I’m careful to use lightly around my lips and concentrate more on my nose, forehead, and chin. Further, when I travel to dry climates, I increase my use of my Vita C Serum & moisturizer. The smell is not great , but I’ve smelled worse products that did NOT work, so its not deal breaker. Lastly, I have more recently significantly reduced the amount of dairy products I consume and have noticed that this small shift has made additional dramatic improvements in my skin and significantly reduced oil production.
