My Experience With Kate Somerville Eradikate Acne Treatment:
Packaging and Usage: This product comes in a heavy plastic bottle. The product is divided into 2 layers a top clear water-like liquid and a pink creamy sediment at the bottom. To use, you have to dip a q-tip straight through the top layer till it touched the bottom pink layer, remove q tip and dab on the desired area. This is a spot treatment hence you only apply it where needed. This can be used on emerged pimples, pimples with visible white head or pimples still under the skin.
Effectiveness: I use this product overnight dabbed onto areas I have a pimple. It dried crusty on the area within a few minutes hence unlike a cream it does not smear onto my pillows, but it will flake off. This can be used 2-3 times a day but since it is not a pretty sight to roam around with pink dots over your face, I only use it before bed. This works great by absorbing any excess oil and making the bacteria festering around that area uninhabitable. It literally speeds up the process of my pimple drying out to couple of days which otherwise could have taken a week or more to emerge, heal and required a lot of concealer cake up.
Fragrance: It does have a strong sulphuric scent but it does disappear quickly.
Overall, if you dont want to take a chance with a conspiring pimple ruining your special day, this product is an absolute must have. I, for one, am forever going to repurchase this treatment product.

My Experience With Kate Somerville Detox Daily Cleanser:
In the last few months, I have been suffering from horrible hormonal breakout which left quite a lot of scars on my face which is when I had started using this product.
Packaging:
It comes in a squeeze tube. I am not a big fan of a dispenser like this one. It has a twist-up cap which has hole which open up when you twist the cap. The problem I face is every time I go to close the cap some of the left over cleanser lurking behind the hole seeps out, thus causing wastage. Also I feel it is pretty unhygienic that the cleanser is dispersed from the same locationl which is used to store the bottle standing up on the surface which may or may not contain germs.
Consistency:
This cleanser has a gel like consistency. It foams up quite efficiently with the tiniest bit and gives me thorough clean skin. It did not leave my face feeling stretchy, tight or dry, post washing.
It has a strong herbal scent which may be overwhelming for sensitive noses but I find it quite refreshing.It rinses off clean and I do not feel any residue on my skin. Skin feels smooth and refreshed. It is not most hydrating but not very drying either, hence I do feel the need to follow up with a moisturizer. I did feel like it kept my acne flare ups under control and helped new ones from not surfacing. I did notice quite remarkable improvement in my skin clarity and it helped reduce inflammation.

Ive made no secret of my love of Kate Somerville. Shes the esthetician to the stars in LA, and she has an amazing skin care line. Her products are a bit of a splurge for me, but theyre well worth it.
One of my all time favorite products is her ExfoliKate, a green scrub that takes only a minute to work! It leaves my skin smooth and glowy, a tube of this stuff lives in my shower all time. I probably use it about once or twice a week, depending upon how my skin is doing. I dont even know how many tubes of ExfoliKate Ive purchased. One tube lasts me about 10-11 months, and Ive used it continuously for about 7 or 8 years. I even take it with me when I travel!
ExfoliKate Cleanser isnt really a typical cleanser. It is a bit drier, and has some very fine and evenly sized grit. Theres a very faint green tint, but its pretty much just white. It has a light lather and rinses off super easily. It does not make my face feel overly tight or dry, just clean. Ive been washing my face first with the Detox Cleanser to remove my makeup. I then rinse and wash a second time, using about a pea sized amount of the ExfoliKate Cleanser. Its just the right amount to wash my face, avoiding my eye area.

At night, Ill typically double cleanse my face with a cleansing balm and gel cleanser. Ill follow that with an anti-aging serum, eye cream, and moisturizer. At night, Im currently using Erborians Solid Cleansing Oil, SkinCeuticals’ LHA Cleanser, Image Skincares The Max Wrinkle Reducer, Tony Moly’s Moisture Boost, and Erno Laszlo’s Hydra-Therapy Gel Cream. Once or twice a week, I also try to incorporate different masks but these vary based on how my skin feels, what Im testing, and what my concerns are for that week.
