It’s Okay To Not Have An Internship Right Now
Some of my super prepared friends already have internships, and it is important to remember that everyone is on their own timeline. If you don’t get an internship now, you still may get one later on down the road.
Modern day romance is complicated. The internet has taken over the simplicity of dating. Most people meet online before they meet in person. Before tinder and snapchat, people were courting and asking for permission to take their significant other out on a date. Now everyone just wants to text on the phone. People cannot even carry a conversation in person. Generation Z, 1995-2010, was not alive during the courtship era, so all they know is dating in the 21st century. The only reason they know what dating used to be like is romance movies. Now after recent films and tv shows Generation Z is ready to fall in love.
You may be thinking … where the *#^$ did time go? Feels like yesterday we were all moving on campus looking forward to the good times ahead with our best friends. But now it’s May, and we have finally come to realization that we can’t live on campus forever. So now here we are, with tears in our eyes as we give those dreaded goodbyes to all of those who made our school year one to remember. But especially to all of those saying goodbye to their boyfriends and girlfriends for the summer, you may feel like the world is coming to an end. But I must assure you, the world isn’t ending quite yet.
