The Gentle Way To Exfoliate

My aesthetician recommended that I switch from a physical exfoliant to this chemical-based one as the rough physical exfoliants can damage the skin. I have sensitized skin, but really want some degree of gentle exfoliating as Im 50 and definitely notice a difference when I do. This AHA based exfoliating cleanser is perfect to use 2 times per week as instructed by my aesthetician. I highly recommend it!

Great Gentle Exfoliating Cleanser

I had accidentally ordered this while looking for an enzymatic exfoliator , and I was pleasantly surprised to find that this is my new go-to facial cleanser. Glycolic acid is fantastic for exfoliating, but this is gentle enough to use on a daily basis! I’m now on my second round of Accutane, and while I can only use this once, maybe twice a day, it doesn’t bother my skin! Keeps my skin looking fresh and doesn’t leave it with a tight, dried-out feeling either, just a clean, fresh feeling.

Great Cleanser Even For Sensitive Skin

I am amazed that my super sensitive, rosacea-prone skin can tolerate this cleanser. It doesn’t contain any fragrance, so that’s likely part of the reason it works for me. Also, at the advice of the aesthetician at my dermatologist’s office, I kind of “snuck up” on my skin with it over the course of a month. The first week, I used it just once. The second week, I tried two days, then three days, then five days. I’m now up to using it every morning, and I have absolutely no signs of irritation at all. My hormonal acne is clearing, and I’m left with soft, smooth, clear, tightened skin. As I began to near 40, my typically clear skin started to break out terribly, and this product really seems to keep the congestion and breakouts at bay. I love it!
