To use this cleanser, you simply massage on to dry skin and remove with Pais Twin Flyer dual-effect sensitive skin cloth which comes with every order. This is such a welcome upgrade from the standard muslin cloth which was sometimes a little too abrasive for daily use. Its made from 100% organic cotton which is woven into these genius double-sided muslin cloths.

One side of the cloth is Pais classic exfoliating muslin texture. The other side is a more gentle, soft flannel which is ideal for removing the cleanser and using around the eyes. Im so glad Pai have created these cloths theyre the best of both worlds with the two textures and zero waste as you can keep washing and reusing again and again!

Pai Skincares Middlemist Seven Gentle Cream Cleanser is priced to reflect the high quality ingredients at £34 for 150ml. I really do think its worth it the investment and Ive repurchased too many times to remember! I think this gentle cleanser would work well for all skin types, and I would especially recommend this to anyone with sensitive skin.

Dampen the Dual-Effect Sensitive Skin Cloth with warm water and squeeze out excess.

EYES

Apply a small amount of Cleanser to dry, closed eye, massaging gently. Using soft-terry-side of cloth, sweep over eye to clean and lift away all traces of make-up and Cleanser.

FACE

Gently massage Cleanser onto dry skin. Remove using muslin-side of cloth*, with gentle circular movements. Follow with final sweep over face with soft terry-side.

Pai Camellia & Rose Gentle Cream Cleanser comes with a muslin cloth thats how its meant to be used.

I used both the texture and soft sides during the month I tested this. They both remove the cleanser well without scratching skin. Having said that, its not the gentlest washcloth Ive tried. If you already have softer face towels at home, feel free to switch.

I must admit I dont like using muslin clothes or face towels with cleansers. Not because they dont work they do. Im just too lazy to do all that laundry.

Muslin cloths are a breeding ground for bacteria when wet. You have to wait until theyve dried out completely before using them again. And thats if you dont use makeup. If you do, they get dirty pretty quickly. Its a hassle. Its up to you to decide if its worth it for you.

Pai Camellia & Rose Gentle Cream Cleanser works both with and without the muslin cloth. So, which one is the better option? It depends.

Using the cleanser with the matching muslin cloth provides a better experience. The cloth helps remove makeup and ensures that every trace of the cleanser comes off too.

When you use the cleanser without the muslin cloth, youll feel like you still have a slightly greasy layer on your skin. Thats not dirt or makeup the cleanser removes both well with or without the cloth. Its the oils in the cleansers.

Pai Camellia& Rose Gentle Hydrating Cleanser

I take for granted that if you have been on this blog before, you know that the Pai Camellia and Rose Gentle Hydrating Cleanser is a staple in my skincare routine. I mentioned it in my monthly favorites, skincare routines, etc. However, when a few days ago a lovely reader asked me which cleanser I recommended for her sensitive skin, I searched my own blog looking for a review of this cleanser to point her to, and I could not find it! I couldnt believe that I did not write more about it. I am currently on my third bottle of it and still very much in love with it. Here are some of the reasons why:

The texture is lovely. It has a soft, creamy consistency that is very easy to spread on my face and massage. It does not foam, .

It does not have a strong fragrance. Only a subtle floral scent.

It is excellent at breaking down makeup. I have tried to use it with heavy makeup and it worked great, except that I had to use quite a bit more product than usual. Therefore, when I wear more makeup I first cleanse with some oil and then use two pumps of this cleanser to remove all the residue of oil left on my face.

Speaking of removing product, I find this cleanser very easy to remove. I dampen a soft washcloth with warm water and gently wipe my face with it.

It leaves the skin very hydrated, without feeling/looking greasy, sticky, or anything like that. Just soft and clean.

Pai Middlemist Seven Camellia & Rose Gentle Cream Cleanser

Middlemist Seven was the first cream cleanser I ever tried! I love a good oil or balm, but this cream cleanser is one couldnt imagine being missing from my skincare cabinet! Once you try this product, its easy to see why its a cult favourite in the beauty world!

This cleanser is one of those products I genuinely look forward to using! It manages to remove dirt and impurities effectively, even though its so gentle. It leaves my skin feeling softened, hydrated and balanced. Im always so impressed with how well it manages to remove makeup and I can easily use it over my eyes too with no irritation. The scent is quite subtle with floral rose notes and I love that its not at all overpowering.

This is actually one of Pais products that needs to be returned to them for recycling due to the pump dispenser. The pump gives exactly the right amount of product and it has an automatic seal that opens and closes when you press down on the pump thumbs up for being hygienic!

How To Use It

Its the first step of your skincare routine at night. Massage it all over your face and remove it with the muslin cloth it comes with.

The cloth has a textured side to exfoliate skin during cleansing and a soft side if you want to skip the exfoliation. If you have sensitive skin that cant tolerate acids or scrubs, do use the textured side. If, like me, you prefer chemical exfoliants, use the soft one. Either way, I like that Pai is giving us the option.

Hello beauties! Today I wanted to share my thoughts on the Pai Camellia & Rose Gentle Hydrating Cleanser. Pai is a certified organic skincare line, founded by Sarah Brown. It is designed mainly for people with sensitive skin. However, Pai also caters to people with various skin conditions, such as eczema, allergy prone skin, dermatitis, acne prone skin, and much more. Pai was one of the first certified organic skincare lines that ive tried. I first heard about it when I was researching certified organic skincare for sensitive skin, and read that actress and vegan, Natalie Portman, loves the brand, in particular the Pai Chamomile and Rosehip Cream . Natalie Portmans skin is AMAZING, so I thought I would give Pai a go! At the time, my skin was VERY dry, sensitive, and red . I also started to develop eczema around my mouth area, which I never had on my face but I did once have it on my body. So, the Pai cleanser seemed like a great choice!

Great For My Sensitive Acne Rosacea Prone Skin

I was very skeptical to pay this much for a cleanser. I would usually use European brands for sensitive skin such as Avene, Bioderma, or La Roche Posay, but recently I was having cystic acne outbreaks on top of Rosacea. I was desperate so I decided to upgrade my skin care routine. $$$ To be honest, this cleanser is wonderful! I love massaging it to my dry skin and removing it with the warm towelette. This technique seems to be cleaning my skin better than applying cleanser on wet face and rinsing. Also my skin feels so soft after! I have very pale skin prone to redness and I this cleanser with the Pai Rose Hip Oil do not make the issue worse , but better! On days when I wear make up I also use the Pai Cleansing oil as second cleans after the Pai Middlemist Seven to make sure I remove all the make up and these routine has been working for me wonderfully. How To Use

Eyes: Pump one dose of cleansing cream on to a cotton wool pad and gently pull the pad across the eye lid to gently lift away make-up. Face: Gently massage 2-3 pumps of cleansing cream onto dry skin. Remove with a warm damp muslin cloth using a circular motion. Rinse the cloth and repeat the exercise until all the cream has been removed. Finish with a splash of cold water to the face. Storage: Store in a cool dry place. Use within 6 months of opening.
