The Cleansing Oil Method
In order to perform the cleansing oil method, first you should give the Japanese Cleansing Oil bottle a shake, dispense a few pumps into the palm of your hand, then rub some of the cleanser between your hands. Immediately apply the cleansing oil to your dry face. Gently massage the cleansing oil into your face, then wet your hands and rub them onto your face, working the cleansing oil into your skin for a deep cleansing. Then, rinse off the oil with lukewarm – not hot! – water.

How often you cleanse your face will depend on your skin type and your lifestyle. If you are very active, you may have to cleanse more than once a day. But, usually twice daily is a good place to start. In the morning, cleansing the face with oil is the best way to ready your skin for a beautiful makeup application. Your skin will feel supple and smooth, and it will look great under your makeup.
At night, use your oil cleanser as a makeup remover as well as a facial cleanser. A deep cleansing with oil is the first step for a great bedtime preparation routine. Complete the routine with some Water Balm and wake up with plumped up, soft skin.
The type of cleanser that you use on your face is always going to have an impact on the condition of your skin. Its easy to think that something that you only use for a few moments wouldnt have a big effect on your skin, however nothing could be further from the truth. The cleanser you use will affect how your skin will look and feel for the rest of the day, or while youre sleeping and the skin is repairing itself.
If you use a cleanser that is too harsh, the skin will get angry with you. If you remove the skins natural oils, it can send your oil production into overdrive and cause a breakout.
