I felt really good throughout, I didnt feel hungry, but my tummy did grumble on 2 occasions and that was when I didnt take my juices out with me. I was able to stay active throughout the cleanse, I took my daughter to the park & we went for a long dog walk in the forest on day 3 & I didnt feel I had any less energy than normal but by 5pm on day 3, I really wanted to eat everything! Ha, if I had a dollar for each time I was asked this question over the course of three days. In a nutshell
I felt awesome. 97% of the time. I dont know if it was related or not, but on the afternoon of Day 2, I had a pretty fierce headache that was really bumming me out. It could have been unrelated, but I did decide to cheat briefly and ate a handful of peanuts, and then felt a little better. Take that as you will. I think in any sort of fast or cleanse like this, the second day is often when your energy dips as your body is getting used to the new rhythm. But goodness, overall I felt incredible. By the end of Day 3, I felt really refreshed, full of energy, lighter, and as cliche as it may sound, I just felt healthy. And whats more that feeling has lasted over the course of a week! I think that taking a few days to get out of the rut of a few bad habits really helped and encouraged me to stick with it afterwards. So bottom lineI felt great.
The one thing I missed was something to chew and something warm. It was definitely an adjustment to drink your calories each day, and cold calories at that. I think this cleanse would be more difficult in the winter when everything is already cold, but in the spring or summer it was refreshing.

The night before starting the juice cleanse I weighed in at 55.9kgs At the end of the 3 day cleanse I weighed at 53.4kgs which is a full 2.5kg weight loss.

To Fast Or Not To Fast: 3 Days Of Suja Juice
One of the more common questions I get as a dietitian is about fasting. Forgoing food for several days or a week seems to be a popular choice for many with hopes of detoxing, losing weight or somehow finding a more energetic version of themselves. My typical response is rather cautionary, so I was intrigued when I was offered a free 3-day juice cleanse from Suja after attending the International Food Blogger Conference . I figured this was my chance. Each serving of the Master Cleanse beverage contains about 110 calories, and at least six servings are recommended per day. Most people will consume fewer calories than their bodies burn, leading to short-term weight loss.
One study found that adults who drank lemon water with honey during four days of fasting lost an average of 4.8 pounds and had significantly lower triglyceride levels .
A second study found that women who drank a sweetened lemon beverage while fasting for seven days lost an average of 5.7 pounds and also had less inflammation .
While the Master Cleanse diet does lead to short-term weight loss, no studies have examined whether the weight loss is maintained long-term.
